This funding is available to ALL children in receipt of early education and receives disability living allowance (DLA).

The funding is paid as a lump sum annually.

Families must provide a copy of their award letter to prove eligibility to their nominated provider. For the funding to be paid, the award letter must show that DLA will be received during the claim period.

To claim the funding, the provider should send via secure email a copy of the parent / carer claim form and the award letter to the Early Years Finance team at earlyyearsfinance@norfolk.gov.uk for checking.  Once eligibility is confirmed, the first payment will be released approximately 6 weeks later.

Future payments will be paid automatically unless a new claim form is received nominating a new provider, new evidence is required for DLA or the funding claim for Early Education ceases.
