This funding is available to ALL children in receipt of early education and receives disability living allowance (DLA).

The funding is paid as a lump sum annually.

Families must provide a copy of their Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) award letter to prove eligibility to their nominated provider. For the funding to be paid, the award letter must show that DLA will be received during the claim period.

To claim the funding, the provider should send via secure email copies of the parent / carer claim form (Part 2 and 3) and the award letter to the Early Years Finance team (FAO. Early Years Finance Manager) to earlyyearsfinance@norfolk.gov.uk for checking.  Once eligibility is confirmed, the first payment will be released approximately 6 weeks later.

To receive future payments, providers will be required to confirm that they remain nominated by submitting a copy of the current Part 2 and 3 claim form and provide new DLA evidence if applicable.
